First Visit

The first thing we will ask you to do is complete brief questionnaires designed to gather information about the health complaints which are your primary concern. We will also ask about your health history, other care you may have had (chiropractic, osteopathic, medical, etc.), your job, and questions that will help us determine the nature of your illness and the best way to go about helping you. Once information is gathered, Dr. Luxon will sit down with you and discuss your individual concerns in more detail.

A physical examination will be performed along with tests that Dr. Luxon feels are appropriate for your particular case. Testing may include x-rays, electromyography, thermography, range-of-motion analysis, strength testing, sensory testing, laboratory analysis and other diagnostic procedures. In addition, a spinal examination and analysis will be performed to detect any structural abnormalities which may be affecting or causing your condition.

After fully evaluating the results of your exam and any additional tests that are performed, Dr. Luxon will review the results of his findings with you. If it is determined that chiropractic care is the best course of action for your problem, treatment will be explained in detail before you receive care. If it appears that your case would be better treated elsewhere, you will be referred to the appropriate specialist.
